Our Sponsor Partners represent just a small handful of the relationships we continually cultivate with our much larger sponsor and fund manager network in the middle market real estate-based investment space. The total asset value of Fairway’s full sponsor network’s combined portfolios would be staggering as our relationships with brokers, fund managers and sponsors go back more than 25 years. Fairway has watched our sponsors grow their businesses and build their asset portfolios, in many cases helping them structure and administer their funds and syndications, often acting as an advisor and mentor along the way.
Fairway’s advantage does not stop there. We have been able to select high quality Sponsor Partners because we have walked many miles in their shoes. As a real estate fund manager ourselves, we’ve experienced the challenges sponsors face on a daily basis. We understand what it takes to be a leader in the real estate space and we know how to tell who has the right stuff and who does not.
*Fairway’s “Sponsor Partners” are third-party real estate asset-based entrepreneurs that have demonstrated to us that they share our “value investing” mindset and have the capacity to provide institutional scale investment opportunities. “Sponsor Partners” have passed Fairway’s extensive due diligence process both at the entity and the transaction levels and must be in continued good standing with Fairway, meaning that Fairway is willing to capitalize additional opportunities that meet its underwriting criteria. Status as a Sponsor Partner is the pinnacle of a relationship with Fairway.
