Founder & Chief executive officer
Having spent his full professional career in real estate finance, he has expansive exposure to all real estate asset classes, structured finance, distressed debt acquisition, disposition, real estate syndications and pooled investment funds. A former basketball player and lifelong sports fan, Matt received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of California, Davis.
Principle, Capital Markets
The combination of his affable personality and 20+ years of real estate investment experience make him a knowledgeable resource for investors of all types, whether a first-time investor or an experienced highly sophisticated investor. Darris is a graduate of Gonzaga University and a lifelong Pacific Northwest resident.
Chief Financial Officer
John joined Fairway as CFO after spending nearly two decades in leadership at Intel. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University Krannert School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English from Brigham Young University.
He holds a Master of Business Administration as well as a Graduate Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Development, both from Portland State University. In addition, Will spent over a decade as an officer in the United States Air Force, leading pararescue airmen on multiple overseas combat deployments.

Before opening his own firm in 2008, which provides dedicated, part-time general counsel services to growth-stage companies in various industries, Jay was General Counsel to one of Oregon’s successful private software companies. Before that, Jay was a litigation partner at Perkins Coie, the largest law firm in the Pacific Northwest. Jay received his JD from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in American political thought from the University of Utah and a bachelor’s degree in political science, philosophy, and film studies from Boston University.
Anindya joined Fairway after over 17 years in KPMG’s India and Middle East offices. Anindya has an additional 10+ years of experience in an advisory role with major corporations, including cross-border deals and market entry. Anindya holds a CGMA degree from CIMA (UK) and AICPA (USA), a CMA degree from CIMA (UK), an ACA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and a bachelor’s degree with a major in economics from Presidency College, Calcutta University in India.
Before Fairway, Barry spent 10 years at Integra Realty Resources as Director of Commercial Real Estate Appraisal. Barry holds real estate finance and master’s degrees from University of Denver and MAI, CCIM and SRA real estate designations.
Kellen received his business management degree from Oregon Tech.
During his career, Adrian has been responsible for over $1 billion of real estate transactions spanning core to opportunistic risk profiles. Before joining Fairway, Adrian held senior investment roles with ScanlanKemberBard Companies, Guardian Real Estate Services, and is a former co-founder and principal of Willamette Stone, a boutique real estate sponsor. Adrian earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a CAIA charterholder.
Teri has 20+ years’ experience in financial services and private capital investment marketing within Fortune 500 companies. Teri received her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles.
With her 25 years of progressive experience in real estate and underwriting, Angie completes due diligence on new investments and prospective sponsors and manages closings for new investments. She has been with Fairway since 1995 and is a voting member of Fairway’s Investment Committee.
Angie has been actively involved in every one of Fairway’s investments for the past two decades and is a seasoned underwriting professional. Angie studied at Southern Oregon State University.
